OUR CLASSES

We have four different levels of classes that are focused around their age, but it's important to balance out both their academic and social levels. Feel free to reach out if you are unsure which class would be best for your child.

There are two different class time options, but we are not allowed to have a single student do both morning and afternoon sessions.

Students must be three years old no later than October to start the year. We do this to balance the maturity level of kids within a class. For example using the 3's class, we would like to avoid the potential social, emotional and academic variance in a child who turned four in November with a child who joins the class in March having just turned three.

Students must also be potty trained.  This means that they consistently are able to make it to the bathroom in time, wipe themself and wash their hands correctly. While we understand accidents will occasionally happen, accidents that occur daily can create a disconnect in the classroom during the day. We remind students to use the bathroom often and allow them to use it any time they need.

3's Class:
Meets Tuesday and Thursday, Max 10 students per class
8:15 - 10:50  or  11:25 - 2:00
Tuition: $225 per month, 9 month school year

This is often times the first experience children have with a classroom setting. Some may wonder if preschool at age 3 is important, and we believe it is. It is a great transition into a classroom atmosphere, taking it slow and developing social skills that will help them when they enter the 4's class. They are able to play and become engaged in activities that are educational, while learning social skills and communication skills. Students will learn through hands-on, engaging projects, group learning at rug and free play with peers.

In addition, we will be also focusing on developing language skills, capital letter recognition, number recognition 0 - 10, scissor skills, personal safety and peer social skills.

* Students must be 3 years old prior to October and must be able to use the bathroom, wipe and wash hands on their own.

4's Class:
Meets Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Max 10 students per class
8:15 - 10:50  or  11:25 - 2:00
Tuition: $335 per month, 9 month school year

Our 4's class is designed to prepare kids for the expectations of kindergarten, academically, socially and emotionally. Students continue learning through hands-on activities that encompasses differentiated learning while having fun. Stories and songs will continue to be a large part of our day, as kids build confidence in learning a variety of skills.

The projects and actives for this class are designed to help kids develop independence with problem solving, scissor skills for curved lines, group counting and addition.  We take the next step with partnering the upper cases they learned the previous year with the lowercase as well as the letter sounds.  As the year progresses, we begin introducing reading small words (CVC) and they begin writing phonetically.

Part of what students will be learning will be capital and lower letters, counting and number recognition from 0 - 100, patterning, phonological awareness, introduction to reading and addition.

4's STEM Class:
Meets Monday through Friday, Max 10 students per class
11:25 - 2:00 only
Tuition: $500 per month, 9 month school year

On Monday, Wednesday and Friday this class follows the same curriculum as the 4's class. However, there are two additional days where the focus is STEM based, which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Students will explore making crystals, exploring ramps and pulley systems, building structures for height or to hold different amounts of weight, and much more. â€‹

* Students must be 4 years old prior to October and must be able to use the bathroom, wipe and wash hands on their own.

Junior Kinder Class:
Meets Monday through Friday, Max 10 students per class
8:30 - 12:00
Tuition: $615 per month, 9 month school year

Our Junior Kinder class was designed for kids who miss the kindergarten cutoff or who are not ready for full day kindergarten. Students will continue their education after the 4's and begin learning to read books, phonetically write stories, play math games that require a variety of skills including addition, subtraction, grouping, and patterning. Students will explore scientific experiments, independent learning stations, whole group learning and small group activities with their teacher. â€‹

Students will have a morning community snack brought in by one student, and a small personally packed lunch later in the day. During this time, we will help students learn how to open their own packages and becoming more independent in preparation for expectations during elementary school. Helping students to problem solve in a variety of ways beyond simply asking an adult for help is one of the cornerstones to our program.
